Dr. Aya is an experienced, residency trained, and board-certified clinical pharmacist. She earned her PharmD at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University in 2017 and completed her PGY-1 residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. In addition to her inpatient experience, she also served as a collaborative drug therapy management pharmacist at the Harlem Hospital medicine clinic where she managed patients’ chronic diseases alongside primary care physicians and endocrinologists. She is board-certified in pharmacotherapy and ambulatory care pharmacy and earned a pharmacogenomics certificate from the Mayo Clinic.
